Heidin Mummola
Nature
Welcome to Heidi's Mummola in Ylinen Alposjärvi, an authentic farmhouse accommodation in the middle of the peaceful Lapland countryside. Here you can take a breather, meet the animals and enjoy the atmosphere and tranquillity of the Mummola.
The location of the farm allows for hiking, fishing and berry picking in the surrounding area.
Heidi's Mummola offers everything you need for a peaceful, nature-oriented holiday for families with children and couples alike!
Our extensive cooperation networks also allow us to organise guided fishing trips, fishing trips and reindeer safaris.
Horse riding
Heidi's Mummola is a popular riding venue and we have invested in the comfort of both horses and riders.
You can ride our wonderful Finnish horses all year round on your own, on a lead or with a guide. Riding on our horses is suitable for people of all ages and levels.
Helmets are available for hire on site, and riders must have their own accident insurance.
More photos and videos of our horses and riding can be found on our regularly updated social media channels.
We start by getting the horses out of the corral and into the yard, brushing and cleaning the hooves and fitting the horses together. You can bring your own riding helmet or borrow one of our helmets, which come in many different sizes.
Riding is experienced in the countryside on nature-centred forest roads and paths, mainly at a run, but faster paces are possible if agreed. On returning to the yard, everyone takes off their horse's tack and we brush and clean the hooves. Finally, we walk the horses back to their own enclosure.
Price 30€/person/per session (incl. VAT 14%), duration of the session is about 2-3 hours.
You can pay by MobilePay, cash or bank transfer.
